Mike's Journey

“Live Bold” is the motto of Mike Burke. He provided a simple picture of a railroad track. He told the story of his lifelong struggle with Cystic Fibrosis. The tracks signified his journey as he trudges along with this burden. Perseverance and tenacity, is what it takes to accomplish anything significant, and in his case, life. I created this painting and sent it to him for acceptance. He asked if I had ever seen a CF lung on X-ray. I had not. “There is one in your painting”. I don't know why I put it there, that way.
